GorkyCAD announces GorkyCAD Pro — cloud-based electrical design software that runs directly in the browser on WebAssembly technology. GorkyCAD Pro enables an electrical engineer to, in hours rather than days: draw a floor plan, place sockets and lighting fixtures, automatically generate a single-line diagram, calculate loads, select circuit breakers, arrange a 3D panelboard, and produce a complete PDF documentation set. All data is stored in the open .gorkycad format (ZIP + JSON), ensuring no vendor lock-in. Key features: calculation core in TypeScript running on WebAssembly, browser-based interface with no installation (Windows/macOS/Linux), "Gorky" AI assistant for routine task automation, full GOST, PUE, and IEC support. GorkyCAD was founded in 2023 in Nizhny Novgorod. Key product metrics (active users, downloads) and the current roadmap are to be updated and will be published on this page.
